This training ground in London

What a crock of shite! In the past Liverpool never had a problem getting any player they wanted and their city was the biggest shithole in the country. And as for saying no-one is motivated by money, especially in this league ,what planet have you just landed from?
Weren't Liverpool the dominant force in the country? The greatest team in English history at the time? and secondly, learn to read.

As time has moved on, people are less motivated by money and more by work life balance

I never said no one. If someone offered an identical contract, one for London and one for the NE, more would choose London, i have no doubt about that.

Finally, i don't support this at all. I think it's a joke, but you have to at least understand what might be fuelling a rumour to be able to comprehend it.

I'm actually at imperial college sports ground which is harlington (qpr). Down here now with a team which is on a training session and I've just been told that Sunderland are/were looking at this place for a training base. Don't know how far the other thread went or even if this place was mentioned on it. Came from a guy working here in a high capacity. Cue the usual suspects doubting me though. Lol
Think they would have pay staff off to pay for this idea.

Our failure to attract better players I'd because we can't pay big wages to attract them anymore after being skint and spanking too much up the wall; and because the clubs reputation in the footballing world is rock bottom due to the way we've been ran and how we've gone about things/ the people in charge

Not cos Sunderlands not in London

That's not the intention though is it! The intention by the sounds of it is to move down to London and travel to Sunderland for home games (I recall a club in Russia doing this).
It may well improve you as a club, more able to attract players who want to shop at Harrods as apposed to Primark. Personally I would hate the idea, I feel you will lose your identity, you simply wont be a North East club, you will become a Premier League franchise club. Look at AFC Wimbledon or MK Dons. What a load of American sports bollox it is. However if you are all happy with it, more power to you and it has nothing to do with me anyway.

I'd rather the club went of business and we started again then doing that shit. Club wouldn't feel like ours anymore

So move the training base to London, players train and live there and travel up for games

Shorts still in charge, Moyes still picks team and we're still skint

So...that helps how?

Nor man it's Sheels man, the Sandie bassas want one near tha Wemberlee base.....

If you're poorly run and start training in London you'll still be poor.
Look at QPR. Short is the problem not the location of the club.
Short is the biggest problem, but location is still an issue for us. Years of having to pay over the odds to get average players to come is a significant reason we're in the financial mess that we're in.

Because the same people who've got you in this mess on the field and off it will still be making the decisions, with an added expense or renting the training ground, or even buying it.
Coupled with the raft of shite players that will be more likely to sign based on location alone. All the crap players that wouldn't even consider it supposedly because of location will now be willing to listen.
ES will buy it himself and rent it back to SAFC. Housing or Heathrow or CPO will make it worth his while.

So you are going to run an expensive training facility for something like five to ten games a season. Fuck me no wonder you lot are in debt up-to your eyeballs. It makes NO sense what so ever to train down there for the london games when it takes less than four hours on the plane, and the away team gets access to the home teams pitch for pre-match warm ups and training.

Also I did say "By the sounds of it"

Where are we looking at? London or Tenerife?

I've said they should do this for years, either that or have it abroad but I suppose Brexit might complicate that.
