Price freezes.
That's the advantage for the fan, surely the club needs to get some sort of benefit, like guaranteed sales for 10 years? If you can cancel at anytime that isn't guaranteed for the club, which makes me think there would be some sort of financial penalty for the fan if they were to cancel before the 10 years is up. Surely it is not as simple as taking out a 10 year season ticket with a price freeze, but cancel when you want?

You've been able to cancel them at any point. Always have been.

Actually that's not true.

My brother has to cancel before the end of January on a seven year deal.

Good idea having us condensed into one thread. Top modding.

Price freezes.

They actually reduced season tickets last year for those on deals; brother got a hundred of each ticket with relegation given as the reason.

Imagine next season when we're fighting relegation from the Championship and the Mag relegation scrap that we're certain of doesn't transpire and they're comfortably mid-table
You've got to be one special kind of arseclanger to come on here pretending to be a Sunderland fan whilst slagging your own fans off in your username. Next level of loneliness and bitterness that is. f***ing shambles of a man.

It is a bit ironic when you read people on here calling them obsessed.
Mr Jardine likes your post, let that sink in. As far as the mag baiting goes I've no problem with it, strange that some do. This is after all a banter forum. It would be remiss of us to remind them they aren't quite champions league material yet. I thought Newcastle was as bad as Villa. Not a great advert for Rafagation.

They played last night, it's natural to comment when their isn't anything much else going on. Nothing to get po faced about.
So did Sutton and Arsenal and that barely got mentioned in comparison. Last season apparently all the threads were due to them being a fellow relegation struggler. Can't use that one this season as they aren't even in same league!

It means that they have to actively do something to avoid renewing - like fill in an application form asking to cancel. Usually you have to do something to say you want a ticket. They may have retained a lot of fans who were in 2 minds at renewal time.

It might not be a bad idea if a club knows it'll not be achieving much of note for a decade or so

You have to cancel for the upcoming season by the end of Jan. The first DD for next season (despite obviously starting in Aug) comes out 1st march

If I thought all the Mags, and Mags pretending to be Sunderland, would only post about Newcastle on here that'd be great.

But they think nothing of going onto threads that have nothing to do with Newcastle and bringing them into it.

Is that not what we do like? I don't renew every year it just happens automatically.

A cheeky win for Villa against the sinkers up the road on Monday and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw bit of a melt down.

Pressure would be on against Bristol - then Brighton....with on form Huddersfield only 5 points behind them in 3rd at the moment.

Could be funny on Monday night.
