Back in full training! Thought he was still atleast a month away, good to be getting him back!!

Good news, though as usual some on here have written him off after 9 whole games.

:lol::lol: Come on, man, this is Sunderland...

I know but we can all dream now and then;)

Would think he won't be involved against spurs but maybe the game after from the bench

I like this idea, start him back slow, but as mike, just said above, this is sunderland, and moyes has a habit of chucking players in unfit, as we have seen with other players this season.

Good to have him back in the mix
Agree. He's not gonna change the course of the season on his own, but it's good to have some strength in depth and more options in the squad.

And he's only just turned 21, he is still learning and improving. Who knows, he could be a good player for us next season.

Good news but I don't understand him as a player.

He said he prefers playing upfront but we play him centre mid?

Good to have options. He may not be top quality but he's mobile and brings a bit of tenacity. We need three in midfield that work their nuts off and care. One needs to be a bit more experienced and have some quality but N'Dong and Gooch could be two of the three and look like they they could develop into canny footballers. We're still not far off being decent if we get back to the brief run of form we had- it relied on pace in Watmore and strength in Anichebe which we've missed as well as our best back four which for all his failings includes Kone.
Id try to get Jagielka to play alongside Kone, a lightning quick outlet like Watmore and a decent midfielder. With a couple of injured players returning it might just be enough.

If we do go down then we'll likely have to develop the likes of Gooch, Watmore, McNair, Love, Honeyman, Embleton.

Any others coming through? Any of the Robson trio likely to make it?

Tough league the Championship, dunno if we'd be able to throw too many kids in at the same time, but I think Maja and Asoro are promising as well, if not a bit raw and lightweight.
