He passed away peacefully early this morning. I'm sure he would appreciate all your messages of support.
He was a great man and good to his family and friends.

Really sorry to hear that. I hope he did so knowing he was held in the highest regard by a lot of people on here.

Spoke about his illness with great stoicism and dignity I always thought, no self pity and just seemed to get on with things. Would love to think I would do the same in similar circumstances but I doubt it.
