I reckon this particular fishing trip was a deliberate ploy insomuch as it was his unique way of saying i'll not eating you this time but I'm likely to be your lunch pretty soon. He certainly bowed out in style and on his terms. A great poster and family man who did it his way.

I really hope the fish and other creatures that you got great enjoyment from appreciate your generosity and final gift to them. RIP and sleep well, this forum wont quite be the same without your presence.
