His trophy cabinet remains impressive and even if you say the Super Coppa Italiana doesn't count and the Chelsea Europa League doesn't count and the Coppa Italia doesn't count, he's still got plenty of trophies. Certainly more than most managers in England's top two tiers.

I am. Keegan's second reign was doomed to fail and Benitez's CV does compare favourably to Kevin's and, I can't believe I actually have to say this, but Rafa Benitez's CV does in fact compare favourably to Chris Hughton's CV.

No, I'm not saying they don't count, but it seems a lot of the trophies he has won (since Liverpool) are one offs, or ones where he has come in at the latter stages of the competition and managed a side put together by someone else for a few games to win the competition.

So, do you know what was the last trophy he won by managing a club throughout the entire competition?

Can you see why, using terms like "one offs", or "a side put together by someone else" might come across as you dismissing their validity?

No, I'm not sure when he last took a team through a competition from start to finish. I'm presuming you do?
