He has a point. Eamon Dunphy said the same a few weeks ago. Benitez seens to get jobs that boosts his CV. He has a World Cup Club with Inter but that was down to Mourinho. It was Houllier who put together that Liverpool side. He inherited a good side at Valencia and took an interim job at Chelsea after they won the Champions League. Ferguson said the same. FACT!

So why the hell is he staying at Newcastle!?

Ah the old bigot line, so you're also a bigot is that correct? Totally embarrassing behaviour from thr resident obsessed mag. You can throw these childish insults around but all you do is mirror them.

13 hours on here, once again get a life, surely your alleged wife and child could do with a bit of attention? She'll be looking elsewhere if neglected! Just try and keep your fingers off the phone and do your best to ignore me, you won't be able to, you're as predictable as night and day.

A total fraud, fuckin hell man, to spout one of your lines "it's an Internet forum" a fraud :lol:

Why don't you two get a room FFS.
This is a thread about the Fat Spanish Waiter and whether or not he is staying with the Mags not a bitch
fight between two keyboard warriors.

It will be a bit of a coup for them as such, but with his family in England and his words so far, I think he will stop. It all depends who wants to leave etc but I think in that league you need characters ready to roll their sleeves up. They should come straight back up with the players they have, but having a tactical european manager isnt really a plus in that division.

I don't get this ,they will come straight back up , business. Quite a few of the Mags players only showed up in the televised games against the better team, away from home against teams around them ,they showed no bottle at all . In the 2nd division they will come up against teams treating their match as a cup tie and who will really get stuck into them . As far as Rafa goes , he has no experience of this battling type of scenario at all and is overrated anyway.

The thing for me is he doesn't need to sign to stay he has a 3 year contract with a break in that contract that allows him to walk away. So until he says he's not using his get out clause then he could walk at anytime surely.

Thought he said it was more or less done ?

He did. Its still pretty much a cert as there's no-one really wanting him.

It would be funny if he's stalling.

It might say that the clause is only in force between say relegation and July 1st or whatever. In any case the club will be pushing him for an answer so they can look at other options.

I think he might be waiting for other options mind it sounds like he's got £5million reasons to stay. If it's true about his wages and he doesn't get them back up first time it could be disastrous, here's hoping

If I were him I'd be negotiating a pay rise. He is going to win the Championship after all!;)

If it's so certain why doesn't he just say, aye I'm stopping, instead of it being reported by some it could be next week before its confirmed
