He did. Its still pretty much a cert as there's no-one really wanting him.

It would be funny if he's stalling.

It might say that the clause is only in force between say relegation and July 1st or whatever. In any case the club will be pushing him for an answer so they can look at other options.
He must be, surely plenty of top flight clubs would be after him.

Not when they'll have to match the money he's on at Newcastle. That said, it would be hilarious if he took a lower paid job after all the patter about him wanting the Newcastle job for the right reasons.

Most of the top jobs are occupied, aren't they?

If Liverpool, or Arsenal, or Spurs, or whomever were available and wanted him, I'm sure he'd go to them. Is the Valencia job still available? That's the one that gives me most concern.

From the media reporting and even his quotes, it all points to him staying. Im wondering whether this delay in confirming it is due to discussing with the players whether they want to stay or not, which will give him an idea of the scale of his task.

Was thinking the same reg Valencia.

Wouldn't be surprised, Caulkin seems to think it's likely but the finer details are still being hashed out. Sounds like Carr is on his way out, which would make me think that the transfer committee is being sacked off. There's been positive noises from Perez, Mitrovic, Townsend (and a few fringe players) but the likes of Sissoko, Wijnaldum, Janmaat, Mbemba will likely be sitting down with Rafa to see if;
a) he wants them,
b) they want to stay
c) the finance side of things.

I know there's a decent portion of the sunderland fans who don't rate Rafa, but I'm genuinely excited about the prospect of having a man with his trophy laden CV managing my club, after years of employing men with nothing but failure on theirs.

Genuine question, I don't know the answer when was his last trophy win?

Why don't you two get a room FFS.
This is a thread about the Fat Spanish Waiter and whether or not he is staying with the Mags not a bitch
fight between two keyboard warriors.

erm.... No, it's a public forum so take your advice and stick it firmly up your hoop.
