f***ing sick of hearing about the ***** to be honest ! Will he won't he ? Who will they keep ? It's us and only us that concerns me now ie. who are we going to buy to get us out of this annual relegation fight.

I think ffp rules are relaxed for teams who have just been relegated but as others have said, they're very well run financially and regularly turn a profit. They'll be fine unfortunately

That was in the premier league though, which I would assume their player contracts are based round. If as reported, they haven't got relegation clauses, their wages won't be sustainable in the championship, if they are there for a prolonged period of time.

why all the mass hysteria... reputation, potential?
its up a full on comet worshipping cult levels now.
what happens if he decides to walk, coz fat mikes wont give him a blank cheque book.... riots? bouycouuttts? hunger strik... that one won't happen
where is the plan b? benitez is offering hope after humilation, i get that, but if he walks it'll be from despair to nowhere?

dont know what i want more stay and abject failure.... or the riot when he walks, after all this is the soap opera of the toon,

Where Townsend and Woy are concerned, not sure it is. He used to get picked regularly as a Spurs reserve.
Woy wont be their after the euro's, however the new England manager is he will want the players playing in the top leagues not the lower leagues.

Sell your Greggs shares if he goes then, just in case.

Lads, let's stop deluding ourselves.
If FSW doesn't stay, they'll get Moyes or Pearson or Flores, someone decent - fwiw I think its 100pc nailed on FMA will give him all he wants.

However, the main thing is, is that the Ch'ship is very mediocre. Very mediocre indeed. Even if 4/5/6 of their so called top rated players leave, they'll still be too strong for most sides esp at home.
There is no way they will finish outside the top six and imho, they'll piss it like they did last.

However, by the time they return, they will find us and many others, much stronger than when they saw us last !
Flores?! You do deluded for them on here man! They really don't need your help either.

I really hope he doesn't. I don't share the optomism that he wouldn't do it for them, he's still a very good coach. I hope he walks and leaves them further in the shit.

They made a book profit of £15m up to June 2015. Since then they are -£75m in transfers and media revenue will be down due to less TV appearances and place money. Next year TV revenue will be down somewhere around £50m.

They are going to make spectacular losses in the next two accountancy periods, probably north of £150m.
