Newcastle Manager Situation

This is the danger. They've got some decent fixtures and I feel there's almost certain to be a bounce factor; there nearly always is. He's a decent manager who's pretty much always been around top European clubs. We do need to worry IMHO. In the end though, it's in our hands. We've got enough to beat them at their place. We need to put a few wins together or we'll go down... Rafa or no Rafa.
I accept every year that we're down. It helps no end with my sanity :lol:

A telegraph article
Just he tweeted this about 4 hours ago, just proves they don't really have a scooby

As things stand McClaren hasn't been sacked, Benitez remains in Liverpool & still hasn't talked to Charnley Both things need to change #nufc

He even contradicts himself in his own article, he's travelling tomorrow but there are increasing doubts he will take it

Do you think we can help drag it out even more?

Scheduled day off for players tomorrow, so something is more likely to happen. If he survives tomorrow he'll be there Monday.
It's barmy but sacking him tomorrow is idiotic IMO. They should've sacked him on Monday and put a caretaker type from within to take training. This situation is leaving everyone concerned with them in limbo land ( great for us like ) and just proves what a mess they are in.

They are probably waiting on Benitez and he'd be mad to take the job under the circumstances. From champions league to the championship :). So all in all its a mess. Long may it continue

You can get 3/1 on bet fair for Rafa becoming next manager, in from 1/10:eek:

John Carver likes this

He's like Lee Ryder's work experience lad

The bloke is a gibbering wreck. If this doesn't come off I want a pic of him hiding under his desk sucking his thumb.

Well ...... as Newcastle have lost every away game, this year, and Leicester haven't lost, at home, since September ......... not that winnable
You don't share my belief that Newcastle are drillable into being a more effective unit then they've displayed so far though. I was saying that on the basis that Benitez had been appointed - I don't think Newcastle will win there under McClaren.

It's an easier job to take after the derby whatever the result, whatever the manager gets paid isn't going to change much which ever division they are in, my gut says Tufty binned after defeat on Monday, caretaker in for our game, new bloke watching from the stands with no pressure then takes over the following Monday...

I'm probably being naive but can you imagine the meltdown if he rejects.... Forget chernobyl... A rejection could theoretically be catastrophic fur their mentality
