I don't think they will now, if they fail to get 3 points from facing us and Norwich they'll be down imo, same as us
Whatever.

Did for a bit, picked up a win and a couple of draws, imploded after a while
I know. I think we will go down, thought that for a while.
No put Dick Advocaat and Di Canio f***ing kept us up at similar times man
Some people are so ridiculous with their bias against Newcastle
And some people are ridiculous with their bias towards Newcastle ........ I'll leave you lot to wring your hands together.
He wont be coming in looking to scrap it out for the next 10 games for survival, Its a misconception that is just associated with a new manager bounce when teams are down there. He will come in and galvanise a squad which in turn will get better results, probably resulting in beatingn the drop. Benitez having no experience in a relegation fight makes no difference, he will make them better which is more likely to see them safe, its got nowt to do with relegation/survival experience.Would be a lot more worried if they got Moyes or Rodgers. Never been convinced by Benitez and highly doubt he's the right fit for a relegation scrap
The facts are if Sunderland go down its primarily because they were not good enough by not winning enough games, What Newcastle do and do no are irrelevant.

bit worried a galvanised Newcastle might mean us having to win 5 more matches to stay up. Let's hope Benitez says no, although for £6 mil for a couple of months work, I don't see why he would

Will he definitely make them better though?
It seems they have problems behind the scenes.
It's by no means a guarantee like. The defence is horrific and they already can't score, being pragmatic will make that worse. Why? Shit defenders, no bottle, strikers they can't score
Sunderland winning games makes it irrelevant![]()
I've heard the coaching staff at Newcastle have huge differences in opinions and in general don't get on with each other so it's not just the players manuel has to sort out.
We already play a pragmatic way (or try to anyway)It's by no means a guarantee like. The defence is horrific and they already can't score, being pragmatic will make that worse.
I think they will get some sort of bounce but unsure to what level.
