Newcastle Manager Situation

Absolutely mate. Imagine having less than a week to; take the job, get to know the staff and the players and work on tactics before the biggest game of the season where the fans will be nervous as anything?
If he doesn't win the derby, he's on a loser straight away.

I certainly wouldn't fancy it with their defence.

So basically no real different to Sunderland the last few seasons!

I think the Derby is expendable. The fans will get behind a suitable manager and that will encourage the players, who will up their game.

In the end though, relegation might be a good thing for any new manager who will get the opportunity to clear the shit out of the dressing room. If he can pick his own new players then he is on a roll.

Do you think Ashley could do something 'mental' if Tufty goes? If he goes I'm hoping that a good manager wouldn't touch the job with a bargepole. I think Kinnear or Keegan is a long shot but hopefully some other halfwit could be brought it. What's Dennis Wise doing these days? We live in hope!!

... and perform a mircale with the defence.... who according to just about everybody is awful

and that could be the sticking point a team with some talent (midflield) but not enough in even distribution throughtout the sqaud

Business as usual is it ?, your accepting relegation are you ?. As fans we should LETS GET THIS GOING !
Ah great. A boycoutt. Don't think they've had one since they boycoutted Spurs after we beat them the last time at SJP.

Completely different. Di Canio was a shot in the dark and there was no expectation when he played Newcastle nor desperation to end a record run.
Thr previous incumbent also wasn't under the intense pressure McClaren is on.
Advocaat was only ever meant to be a stop-gap before enjoying his retirement in Holland. Again, nowhere near the pressure.

As for the derby being expendable. Lets just see the reaction if we made it seven eh?

lads heres a business plan.... bedsheet printing in the north tyneside area... i'll leave the spelling to somebody else

not a hope of them boucoutting the derby, their 'protests' will fall if they lose the derby which they conveniently always do.
