Board member yet he is left out of a meeting. Looking at it from their point of view more than likely getting the sack, most clubs know it can help them stay up at this stage. Really hope they stick with him though but surprised if it happened.

Well considering he done a bad job at Man Utd and that was with quality, can't see him doing much at Newcastle. Moyes made the mistake of moving on from Everton, had a cushty job there.

They're dragging their heels for some reason. One journo said on twitter yesterday that there is support for Maclaren high up, and that thats a stumbling block for him getting the bullet.
I think if he was going to go, they would have got rid yesterday. Hope I'm not proved wrong.
