Newcastle Manager Situation

It looks like he's staying for now:

And he has got the answer to Newcastle's woes - more finger wagging!

Please please please stay for now!

His comments man, sucking up to the 52,000 fans!

During the match, stand-in skipper Jonjo Shelvey - who took over captaincy duties for the second game running due to Fabricio Coloccini’s injury-enforced absence - wagged his fingers at team-mates on the field and openly questioned them.
When asked about Shelvey making his feelings clear to his teammates, McClaren responded: “I am afraid that is exactly what I want.

“It is exactly what they have got to handle and put up with because it is exactly what 52,000 people are doing.
“That is the message I am sending into the dressing room: ‘Handle what is said.’
“The criticism? Fight it.
“Don’t drop your heads. Keep going.
“(The) body language has to be better, and show the supporters you are up for the fight.”

I wonder which kind of finger wagging he means? I'm sure @cheeses of nazereth can do a tufty finger wagging gif ;)

Would be funny if Moyes said no.
I would imagine he's not as keen as some would think and some of the filth seem to think its going to be Rafa..hahaha haway man the last man they appointed was this clown and now they are fishing for these two, hell why not Mourinho..deluded twats

Oh he's been mentioned too ;)

I find it amazing that they still haven't sacked him after their weekend crisis meeting.
Perhaps despite what the papers say Moyes has kicked em back.

Funny feeling if they do find someone they may refuse to start until the summer. No one wants to start with a relegation.
And anyone willing to take the chance isn't going to be a top manager I wouldn't have thought. A bit like PDC and Poyet were willing to take their chance

.. also Moyes, Rodgers, Benitez :)lol:) would only want the job long-term if they were in the PL next season.

They wouldn't want to be in the Championship next season if they failed to save them

So when is the official announcement that he's gone

Moyes might he has been in the Championship before. It's a great way to get fans onside straight away by winning the Championship title. Although I would rather a 2nd relegation. ;)

So when is the official announcement that he's gone
March 21st.

If he isn't gone by the time they play Leicester a new man would have a maximum of 5 days to come-in, get to know the players and prepare for the derby. Happy days.
