He was a shadow of himself at Sociedad with a very poor record .

Would you agree that half of the Newcastle team is poor?
 
I don't see how changing the manager is going to make Newcastle's results much better. They're playing Taylor and Lascelles in central defence, have strikers that can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo and not one of them have an ounce of fight in them.

Ironic for us if they replace Tufty,the new man gets them going on a winning burst,starting with the game against us and keeps them up sending us down with Villa and Norwich. It's our party trick and I will be f***ing steaming if we're on the wrong end of it.

Why is everyone on here ignoring the possibility of us getting 3/4 wins plus draws from last nine ???
It's possible we will get something from home games v arsenal and Chelsea if we play to our max.
Long way to go still and 27 points up for grabs.

That's my hope too, and if it does turn out that way it must surely be more damaging, because the then the players will know they are playing for a manger who is only there because there was no willing replacement.
That on top of the fact they are denying knowing about the statement that was put out saying they supported Maclaren before the game on Saturday
