Bearing in mind we had to sign vergini, and only 4 centre backs i thought we must have had a big deal lined up like van dijk or someone!

Dick didnt rate him, but he had plenty good games alongside the bad, and it made no sense to me to freeze him out and Roberge, yet keep brown and buy Matthews and release Rev.

If we knew we didnt have the cash for improvments like evans or Lombaerttts or Van Dijk, why not stick with what we had and try to coach them or muster some kind of team spirit or rapport instead of dicking around swapping millions of absolutely shite players at a loss

Aye you'd have thought so.
Apparently we were going to keep rev and release brown until dick returned and did the opposite.
Need a few defenders to come in january.

14/15 window has been the worst for me. Rodwell, PvA, Buckley, Gomez, Jones, Coates. Only really Pantilimon has shown any worth and he looks very dodgy at the minute.

The signings of Borini, Ki, Alonso and Mannone during RdF's reign at least served a pretty useful purpose.

aye, all the ones who floppedunder di fanti, jozy aside, were not really given any games and id argue they would have done just as well as their replacements (thats not even really praise just sad fact)

Alonso made a massive impact. Vergini made a decent impact too. Ustari was only really cover for the continually injured Westwood.

scocco and bridcutt were total balls ups like, but we've had worse windows.
