It's not that Villa fans are better or worse, it's that you continually sing songs about other teams attendances and empty seats, when you yourselves have lower attendances and empty seats too.

They are f***ing imbeciles like. Even when they were challenging the top four under MoN about five years ago and we were scrapping for survival we still averaged more than them.
That Holte Enders in the sky (or skoy as those mutants say) song pretty much sums them up. They have the worst song book in the league and to even dare sing about empty seats when they are the worst offenders in the league beggars belief.
I remember one game they must have brought about three hundred away fans up here (this was when they away support were in the south stand) and there were masses of empty seats in the away end. The thick wankers still had the audacity to sing shit support m'lord at us.
In terms of the size of the club their support is laughable, fans outside of the northeast obviously just don't care about their teams as much as we do. This is evident by the huge amounts of glory supporters in the midlands, the amount of United and Liverpool "fans" is shocking, you just don't get that up here where you're either Sunderland or Newcastle.

Something I find baffling is how Sunderland get such a hard time in the media and from fans of other clubs for their empty seats. I've said it before on here but it really is a bizarre argument. It's like it's better to have 32,000 in a 33,000 stadium than 41,000 in a 49,000 because the first example appears to those on the TV to be more full. I really can't get my head around it.
And another strange one is when they show the fans streaming out when you're losing 0-3 at home to Norwich, slating the support or then bringing up the empty seats stuff again. Conveniently ignoring that 40,000+ have bothered to turn up in the first place.
