A player his owner is "hoping and praying every day" that they can sell.......the failure of the player to adapt is "100% down to the player".

Don't you think we've bought enough f***ing foreign duck eggs over the last few years.
A player who can't hack it in South America?

So he'll come to the best league in the world, adapt overnight and become a wonderful player.

A bit like Scocco then....
A cursory Google of his name shows him up to be a complete misfit. The owner of his current club "prays night and day that he will leave"......'Arry turned him down while at QPR.......and he's been "offered" to mid level PL teams. If we sign this useless c*nt then I'll know for sure that we have a reactive recruitment policy rather than a proactive one.
Someone is f***ing desperate for this transfer to go through

He could be the laziest fattest injury prone mother fucker in the world.

If Sunderland sign pato it would be f***ing unreal, people complaining, we've signed altidore, prica, fletcher, Campbell Gray & Stead in recent memory.

f***ing pato!!

Nah.

For once, we actually appear to have some sort of coherent transfer plan this summer. Don't see how somebody like this would fit into it.

doesn't fit into our system though:rolleyes:

Linked with just about every premiership club. I imagine if he does come over, he'll end up in the London.

A seriously torn thigh muscle is just about one of the worst muscular injuries a young footballer can get. You have to learn how to run and balance properly again and spend a LONG time recieving physiotherapy and massage on the injury to encourage healing with as little scar tissue as possible, it's something that could take years to get fully healed, especially if you try and train on it.
Ah fair enough then. Not the sort of fixer upper that would be likely to come off. Probably never was but its nice to imagine finding a £30m player for buttons

Would be nice, depends how well he's been rehabbed and looked after in Brazil, and how he is mentally after such a serious injury.

Worth a punt imho, almost a goal every two games, might not be the same player anymore but that's why he's being linked with us. Bring him home.

Give the lad a break man everyone puts on weight in Brazil because the standard of training is prob shite, he's only 25 yrs old once the best young player in the worl, he had far to much pressure on him to young! He prob went to Brazil to get away from it all he got 51 goals in 111 games for Milan man and people are still moanin! Will be the biggest signing we have ever made
