What he did was wrong but surely the people who got shot only have themselves to blame. They should have legged it, armed response would have been there sooner rather than later and took him down.

I worked at the County Council's Plannng Department at the same time. I remember the silent horror that swept the place as all the planning officers realised it could have been them. I could never see how he was seen as an outlaw figure in Derwentside and someone to be looked up to. He was obviously a mad cunt.
