Would tie in with the cynical view that our interest is only Mag propaganda to ingratiate the Geordie Nation if they 'beat' us to his signature. That article is all from a mags perspective

This transfer has some similarities with previous deals like Papiss and Sissoko. I think even Cabaye was linked with Sunderland before they signed him.
I really hope that this time we really have an interest and he ends up alongside Catts.
IF this is true that they are travelling over they must have some positive signs, surely they wouldnt just travel over randomly and knock on his doorYou must be logged on to see external links
And all in HDIt's bizarre.
A wall had an egg sit on it.
The wall then witnessed the egg fall to the ground.
Later, in the vicinity of the wall, the King's horses and men convened to assist the previously wall-bound egg.
Alas, the wall observed that they were unsuccessful in their endeavours.
it reeks of this if I'm honest. They really must have a propaganda department, every signing is joining one of the biggest clubs in Europe, every manager has always wanted to manage them and if any player goes somewhere else, that club is obviously their second choice cos Newcastle weren't interestedWould tie in with the cynical view that our interest is only Mag propaganda to ingratiate the Geordie Nation if they 'beat' us to his signature.
Who knows Janey but would be a nice way to start off our transfer businessIF this is true that they are travelling over they must have some positive signs, surely they wouldnt just travel over randomly and knock on his door![]()
It certainly would mind, as I said somewhere else, with me pessimistic Sunderland supporting gene I am expecting Shaun Wright Phillips and Tom Ince to rock up anytime soonWho knows Janey but would be a nice way to start off our transfer business![]()
Not Winlaton then?WHY-NAL-DUM
He should be a midfield target. The times I've seen him he's played in a central three. If and I mean if he does sign...who will he replace? Gomez or will he replace Connor?
Not seen that much of him would he be able to play along side Catts and Downing in a midfield 3?He should be a midfield target. The times I've seen him he's played in a central three.
I've not seen too much either but he looks a good fit for that Dutch style central three. However I'd be extremely surprised if the three also involved Downing. And I'd be disappointed if either of them were out on the wing tbh. It's surely one or the other between the two players. Not seen that much of him would he be able to play along side Catts and Downing in a midfield 3?
