It'll be class, they'll all see the plane and assume it's some Ashley out banner and probably start clapping it before taking any notice , then when they read it properly they'll be foaming

They've been singing it for ages and not in a minority.So now we're assuming that because they have some dickhead fans that chant disrespectful songs, that all of them are happy those songs were being sung?
If they're anything like our fans, I'd think that a lot of them would be giving grief to those that sang those songs for showing a complete lack of class that makes the rest of them look bad.
cant be arsed to read whole thread - what are our suggestions for a message?
My vote would be "Ashley In"
dont like it, bit smalltime - can we not have a funny message? Or something to counter the Mags message?See above pissed one![]()
You're entitled to think it's small time and not donate, but to suggest that the money raised so far should just be given to charity is worse, imo, than the fly past idea. Maybe you'd like to refund all the people who have chipped in mainly for a plane fly past
I've got guys around me in Glasgow who are pissing themselves at the thought and wish they lived in a city where people wouldn't get physically assaulted for even suggesting such a thing.Actually mentioned this to sum mates from nottingham who are forrest fans and they think its a great idea and im sure other people who have mates around the country who support other teams will find the same
although i know what your saying / coming from, but this is merely a bit of needle;
i remember when we were relegated 96/97 season... the mags took a billboard out on south side of the Wearmouth bridge advertising their new kit just to wind us up; or fat mike congering round his boardroom... is that small time ?
I could run naked down the street - it has no bearing whatsoever on what JoS and the team do on the pitch.You're certainly not a lone voice.
We're in a serious relegation battle,but let's fly a plane over Newcastles ground.
It's absolutely pathetic.
Yes, I wouldn't want us to stoop to there level.

Anyway what's the running totalYou're miles to late man, stop your bleating and just chip in![]()
FfsI've not read the whole thread so I'm sure I can't be the first to point this out, but is it not a bit sick to gloat at them using a PLANE, the week after we applauded during the match in remembrance of the people from Newcastle that died in a plane crash?
