Mags saying we parted with jozy AND 7.2m so with wages its well over a 20m investment also he will get no service from our wank midfield , how long ago is it since we won at the tip ? Three weeks ?

Hometime - really excited. Swap Altidore for Defoe, absolute no brainer.

Now - I have to say I'm not so sure. Right now, this season, swap for Jozy, he's a great signing. But if 3.5 year deal at 70k is true it is financial suicide. We'll be desperate to get shot of him in < 2 year.

So mixed feelings creeping in. Great for now, bad longer term.

To be honest mate, being a London lad and all that he might only be here for a season and a half if he does well for us and someone else tempts him away so we might end up not even paying half that amount on his wages in the grand scheme of things. The important thing is the present and we need him to get us out of the mess we're in. There'll be time to worry about the other stuff at the end of the season.
