Racist chanting at the back of the South Stand

True, best just to chant hate songs about people 14 miles away instead ;)

People were probably bored, maybe the song starters need to get themselves some inspiration.
The shitloads of minibuses the casuals brought were singing it in the pub we were in.

They were also taken in turns to gan to the bogs(was only one stall too) to snort coke, mandy, cowies whatever else they were on. Who the fuck takes drugs at a football match, let alone before a game at some rural pub.

I sit in row 35 and seen the stewards and police walking up the stairs like the terminator, but never heard the racist scumbag chanting... Glad they weren't next to me, I wouldn't have been able to help myself....

I hope the kids in the family corner didn't pick up on this....

There's always a few doing lines in the stands during the game

This. The atmosphere went out of the stadium when away fans were shifted. It was a much better atmosphere when they sat in the south stand and people who wanted to sing sat in the SWC... Next to the away fans. People in the North Stand can't even see them never mind create an atmosphere with them nowadays

Who cares if empty seats were on motd when we played Wigan on a Wednesday night etc? Surely it just made their support look shit, not ours.

Removing the away fans from where they were has not seen an improvement in our home results one bit
This. Away fans should have been moved to the family stand bit. Would have been cracking atmosphere south stand and swc

Only seems U37 where a problem has developed, maybe because it's central right behind the goal. Nowt's changed in U39, I still enjoy it and get on with those around me.
Aye, not sure who but some reet bellends up the back of there. Thinking of moving round towards you or swc tbh next season.

While I don't doubt what the OP and others are saying and it is an embarrassing minority of absolute f***ing cretins, can I please respectfully request that people don't begin the process of inventing racism and labeling every single Sunderland fan as racist....I fear I am too late mind.

Can we have a list of those it's deemed ok to be prejudiced against?

lI was stood at the very back row right on the end next to the steward (row 44 seats 705 and 706) with IPA.
These sub humans and they were not young kids were stood in the gap near the post and theres only 4 seats before the concrete pillar in the back two rows.

The scuffling was hidden by the post although a couple of young lads subsequently came past us who were clearly upset and wanting to speak to a copper.

What was good though was when sometimes folk pigeonhole those responsible for this sort of crap as pissed up kids was the lad next to me who started talking to me saying he was 17 and theres no place for that anywhere today.

The coppers took their time sorting it as they were obviously waiting for the control room to confirm the culprits but they sorted the job and the stewards were asking to see tickets and moving anyone who didn't have one for that part of the ground.

The poor steward stood at the end of the row at the top of the stairs was talking to IPA and it was his first time up there........

Oh and after it all died down Doberterd appeared about three people along from me though I don't know if he was there all match....he buggered off before the end from there as well........
