I saw that, sounding your horn impatiently because theres a few hundred blokes in your way isn't a good idea. Then getting out of your car asking "who threw that?" is an even dafter idea.

I still know one or two lads who seem to think someone looking a bit different is some sort of issue, and I'm not naive enough to think there are not a fair few more people still of that mindset in the northeast, but I did think we were down to the very rare idiot that would actually voice their opinions at a football match.:oops:

The impatience of some of the drivers who park down Sheepfolds never ceases to amaze me. What do they expect when they park within yards of the ground where 40,000 people have just been??

Same here. Really need to question the intelligence of those that try to drive through all the crowd like that. If you want to park that close, then use your f***ing brain and think "I might need to hang back 20mins by doing this". Trying to drive through crowds of thousands of people, with kids no higher than your bonnet is ridiculous. I actually purposely walk in front of them as long as I can. If they beep at me, I would telling them in no uncertain terms how thick they are and where to go.

Its the ones who turn up when their tickets isn't for the south stand that cause the bother.
 
Think we need to get something right here. Some are being arseholes here on this thread, when at least 95% of the people in the south stand are no problem whatsoever. People who like to go to the match and be part of the atmosphere and get behind the team. Its a very small minority who are being wankers in there. The way some are coming on here, branding everyone with the same brush, with their stupid opinion of everyone as charvers, kids, stone island wannabes or some other wild assumption, then you are being a bit of a dickhead as well.

It's now become a bit of grey area, a bit of conflict between people who have traditionally classified a race based purely on physical or genetic characteristics with some more modern thinkers who believe race extends to various subgroups of society who share similar characteristics (including not just physical/genetic characteristics): -

The issue with the more modern criteria for defining race is where do you draw the line? Under this criteria (as outlined in the wikipedia link above) would the following be classified as a race: -

1. Tory Voters
2. Football fans
3. Star wars fans (including Jedi wannabes)
4. Catholics
5. Scottish people
6. People who live in the North East
7. Fat people
8. Charvers (aka chavs)

Be interesting to see what you & the SMB reckon on this.

Just the same as going out at the match and getting mortal regardless if that's legal and the other isn't. People enjoy themselves in different ways, just let them get on with it.
