Everton Fans Thoughts on Rodwell

People were calling for wes brown to retire not that long ago, saying he'd never play another game in his life. Roswell could quite easily overcome his injury problems here

Ahh right, so you havent seen enough to form your own opinion?

not really, no. Well I have but never really analysed what he offers as I've never needed to so I'm reading what others think and forming a gut feeling.

My opinion on Borini last summer was he was an expensive Italian flop who's hype came from playing in a slow, fairly average Serie A and if he couldn't score with the service from Liverpool's midfield he stands no chance at Sunderland. I was clearly wrong on that score.

for what it's worth - I reckon we've got something (don't know what) behind the scenes that is working miracles with fitness so this is the perfect move for Rodwell so perhaps it might just click for him.

Had a read of that site earlier today, one of their fans posted back in May hed rather they went for Colback than have Rodwell back. On that basis im declaring some Everton fans as idjits so not reading too much into the comments.

Considering I've been going to watch Sunderland for over 25 years and I'm far more intelligent than you I find that highly offensive.
You haven't learnt much in those 25 years though;)
All fans are the same ,if he had resigned for them ,they would have been wanking themselves silly.

Rodwell showed loads of talent and potential when he was at Everton, although was far from a complete player.

There were plenty of halfwits on here who didn't rate Henderson. This will be the same.

They don't seem to rate him

Eh? Youve literally picked one page where there are maybe 3 negative comments on him. The other 15 pages or so are decent to 'we#d have him back if the price was right/'

Very odd thing to post.

Tbf one of them is praying they can sign Cleverly

With a wink after it, mind. I dont think we, of anyone, should take forum 'in' jokes out of context, should we?!

OP in pissing on chips and smouldering resentment thread shocker

play nice, the truth gets to the bairns you know.

There seems to be a confusion between the two rumours doing the rounds. One is that Rodwell is going for 18.6M and with our sell on clause we will make 5M. The other rumour is that he is going for 10M and that we will make 3M from the deal.
So it seems people are taking a bit from both rumours and putting them together

One quote from there £ 18.6 million

Is this the same stance where you accused Villa fans of being bitter when you appointed O'Neill when they warned you of his flaws and when you accused Swindon fans of being bitter when they warned you of Di Canio's flaws?

Rodwell is a good player when fit, of that there is no doubt but don't to be so unobjectionable. Especially when it is people that have viewed him a lot that are reviewing his ability. That mistake was made with O'Neill and Di Canio in the past.

Why are you bothered, I would be more concerned about your own club and Pardiolas latest claim of Champions League football.

You were posting on the SMB before 6 this morning, fuckin hell, get a life man.

This is literally your only riposte. About to get ready for work (well, being a NUFC fan, community service as we don't have jobs)
