Everton Fans Thoughts on Rodwell

Tremendous, you go to the forum of a club who a young talent snubbed for their neighbours to ask for opinions as to his ability?

I wonder what response somebody would get if they asked us our opinions of ginger jack when he leaves the mags? I am really sure it would be a really balanced and honest reflection of his true ability :rolleyes::lol::lol:
STOPPED reading at the word talent .
Clown.

The poster who swore his allegiance to Everton in Ibiza, after having a wankfest with a few of their fans, is gonna be devastated reading this bless him.

That's horseshite on a grand scale. They bought him because he was a promising, young talent, in the same way Blackburn bought Shearer, Chelsea bought Lampard and Man Utd have just bought Shaw etc. etc.

Completely incorrect, they buy players who are young, have experience in the league, can fill in if and when needed and can be sold on for a decent fee after a year or two. They have no choice but to do this as they have to have x amount of players with a homegrown background. They can't just promote youth players as they wouldn't be ready or experienced enough to fill in when needed. It's why they bought Rodwell and it's why they bough Sinclair. Neither are good enough to be City players long term, both are good enough to be squad players to help meet the homegrown quota.

Comparing Rodwell to when Blackburn bought Shearer, Chelsea Lampard and Man U Shaw just goes to show you really have no clue what you're talking about

Funny how a lot of them rated him and wanted him back on May 23rd when they were linked to him...

It's often been said that Everton are a lot like us as a club with their neighbours always getting the publicity/ media arse licking on a massive scale. Their comments prove that could well be true. Like us they've got some total bellends masquerading as fans

Sold for a decent fee? Man City are going to make a loss on Rodwell

All of the top 4 clubs buy promising young players in the 16 - 20 age range from lesser clubs hoping they train on and become 1st team regulars. Arsenal have bought Walcott, Oxlade Chamberlain, Ramsey in recent years who have been success in the first team but they also bought the likes Jermaine Pennant who didn't.

Liverpool bought Henderson and Andy Carroll, Chelsea bought the likes of Steve Sidwell and Victor Moses with limited success. Man Utd bought Rooney from an also ran club a few years back need I go on?

I stand by exactly what I said in my previous post.

Nope deffo at the SOL at the North Stand End........

It was Southampton though..

I stand corrected in my none orthopaedic shoes............

However, I'll still stand by my comments about him pushing the ball forward and running after it, which made him so easy for full backs to render impotent.

Having said that, I warmed to the lad when he was moved inside but it seemed that not long after that happened he was sold!
