My worry is he doesnt want to come. How are the fans going to react, its dragged on too long move onwards to new targets.

I do like Borini by the way and we were a better side with him in it last year, but its a case of commitment to the cause that worries me
Well that's just a daft way of thinking, he's at Liverpool and is good enough to play for a better team than us. Of course he's not going to jump at the chance of coming here. Would you jump at a job for a company beneath you and on less money just cause a couple of your mates were there ? It's a hard decision for him and I'm not surprised at all it's dragging...

There's no way we would have bid what we did for him unless we received some pretty convincing 'come hither ' machinations form him and his agent beforehand.
I believe there's a contractual thing between him and Liverpool and neither are budging, and maybe Borini thought he was in the right prior to our bid.
We could be talking serious amounts of money here and he might not wish to walk away.
A loan however allows him to fight another day because come day 1 of the season he wont even be on the bench at liverpool

I doubt it's so cut and dried on this. Bent and AJ clearly showed we weren't poor payers.
We seemed to be able to offer more wages than Liverpool to clinch Wickham iirc

I'd take him on loan like, means we could use money for something else

People get to attached to players like, he probably doesn't want to move as he wants to play in Europe and is ambitious, whats the problem with that. I have said it before, people liked him because he scored important goals and celebrated them so passionately, but he celebrated the same way at Roma, at Liverpool, Swansea and who ever he plays for, he is just that type of player, heart on his sleeve. This idea that he has some special connection with the fans is nonsense.

Still hope he signs mind.

Not sure Liverpool will want this as he would have 1 year less on his contact. Also if he has a poor season compared to last season his value would decrease significantly.

The best deal for them would be to sell to monaco for around 12million.

Can't see either party interested in another loan as Liverpool lose the £14m and keep a player they want rid off we get a player that don't want to play for us and if he don't want to play for us why would he come back on loan doesn't make any sense that's if the story was true of course which don't think it is

why would he want to come here on loan if he does not want to come here at all?? paper bull once again.

I suspect that he's holding out to see who else signs.
