have you read every single post? This board should never ever laugh at the likes of RAWK ever again. This thread is an absolute abomination.
I'm not saying he won't sign. I don't have a clue what's going on.But why does he HAVE to be there? The lad has always said he wants to play football, so why take himself out of playing and getting fit to discuss a deal when his agent can sort it all?
Paul Scholes never went to negotiations, he'd always send the PFA in and tell them to just accept any offer. Borini of course isn't Scholes and probably wants some assurances and to get the best deal for himself, but why should he stay in the country to do that? There is such thing as the internet and mobile communication that deals do get done by. I have a feeling the ONLY reason he's gone is because Liverpool play Roma first and Borini wants to play against them as his send off, he seems to be a bit of a sentimental type! In fact he still hasn't changed his twitter picture or description saying he's a SAFC player. If he wanted to get rid of the SAFC connection that would be long gone.
Being linked is totally different to having an official bid accepted and acknowledged by both sides. It happens in all kinds of different ways though. Players get linked for weeks before everything goes through - Lallana as an example. He had been in talks with Liverpool weeks before the bid was accepted because Southampton gave him permission so as soon as the final bid was accepted all he had to do was sign.
Borini will have left instructions with his agent before leaving, got to remember if we suddenly pull out of the deal the lad has to be able to stay at Liverpool without becoming public enemy number 1.
He's being VERY professional about this and it's one of his endearing traits.
That is the most ridiculous rationale I have ever seen on hereOnly thing is, last season he had nothing to lose. Came here and became a cult hero. If we shell out the money to sign him, there is the will he wont he, should he come and miss a penalty, straight away the fans will be on his back.
I think, we move on.
Fletch fit and Connor from start of season will be like two new signings. A good winger and a good midfielder with the money and I think the midfield and forward line will be canny. Just the defence to sort which I am sure is in hand....I HOPE!!!!!!
Probably this. The same arseholes showing up now were the same ones who've never wanted Gus here as manager, and never will. Any chance they see to stick the knife in they will. Bellends.Either that or twisting facts to suit their agendas
It might not be normal but when are things normal where SAFC are concerned?I'm not saying he won't sign. I don't have a clue what's going on.
What I do know is it's not being conducted the usual way. It's not normal for him to be playing in friendlies for Liverpool, intimating how happy he is to go on tour with them etc.
Iv no idea why people seem so keen to make out that it is.

Why would lallana only need to sign but borini is going to take days/weeks?
Can't fault the club. Wouldn't surprise me if this is a bit of an ultimatum to borini. Sign now or we move on to other targets and if I was pushed i reckon we will get him but that's probably wishful thinking. It might not be normal but when are things normal where SAFC are concerned?
I reckon he'll sign in the end, there's nothing to worry about yet. I reckon the club are being extra professional and doing things by the book thanks to the fines we had when under RDF!

Fabio Borini's agent has told the Italian media that the forward will be turning down Sunderland's offer to fight for his place at Liverpool
Really odd stuff from SAFC - Only thing I can think of is Borini told the club he'd like to come back but has had a change of heart / didn't really mean it at the timeYou must be logged on to see external linksYou must be logged on to see external links

Or he has given a bit of a mixed message and the club decided to force his hand.Really odd stuff from SAFC - Only thing I can think of is Borini told the club he'd like to come back but has had a change of heart / didn't really mean it at the time
