Anybody who has been today hasn't seen a great day's cricket, this is just meandering along.

True enough,we hammered them in the 2nd test, other than that its been pretty close. All in i think we have been slightly lucky.

09 was very similar. In fact, the Aussies dominated large parts of 09

last 10 overs going at 0.5 rr

not long until the new ball either

Yep - 5 runs from 10 overs. Poor.

If anything, he looks like a young Steve Waugh.

This.

Stat courtesy of the BBC:

Apart from Ian Bell, England have had only two scores over 67 in the series: Root 180 and Pietersen 113 not out.

Series runs/averages to date: Bell 387 (average 64.50), Root 258 (43.00), Pietersen 232 (33.14), Cook 196 (28.00), Trott 171 (24.42). And before their current innings, Bairstow had 161 (32.20) and Prior 69 (17.25).

I don't agree with that hawk-eye........ When they showed a side on angle, the balls trajectory was clearly on its way over the top of the stumps.

Dull as dishwater this fucker.

This, of course, is the problem with negative cricket. Lose wickets and you/re deep in the shit. 189 for f***ing 6 - and how many of them can honestly say they didn't give their wickets away

Dull as dishwater this fucker.

You wouldn't think that we were playing at home in home conditions on flat pitches would you?
