4th Ashes Test - Durham

Could have been better, but if 250 is a good score and only time will tell, going to be a good day tomorrow and pleased we are in first thing tomorrow.

Anderson made a poor display a little better there.bairstow needs to go. Offers nothing.

Agreed about Bairstow. The question for me is whether Compton or Carberry comes in as opener with Root dropping down the order or one of Taylor, Morgan or Bopara (if either of the last two is fully fit) returns at six.

If these two can add another quick 15 to 20 tomorrow, it's not too bad, assuming we bowl as we can do.

They see both Root and Bairstow as the future.

Root won't get moved and baristow will finish this series, going by what you read and hear.

Agreed.

It's set up for a great day tomorrow and come this time tomorrow night, our first innings score could look a very decent one. Hopefully we bowl better than we've batted.

Also, even if they get 300 and say we get 250. We bat well second time around and the game swings around again.

I think we will get around 240-250 and then we can bowl them out for 150-200.

We have to bowl well tomorrow, but we all know we can.

Going to be another great test.
