This is shit, our batting has been well below par the whole series.
 

Nope, apparently we're wrist-slitters and bed-wetters to suggest that our batting hasn't been up to much all series. Nothing to see here.
 
Root should be there. Big fuck up making him open imo. I said it before the series this had the potential to happen.

Its hardly a big fuck up. We have retained the Ashes, he has a 180 to his name and he is gaining good experience at the top of the order - somewhere where he will operate for the rest of his career.

England's batting has been under par or at best inconsistent from 1-7 (barring Bell). Australia have a very reasonable attack as well.

He was scoring runs a plenty at 6. In tremendous form. 22 years old, plenty of time for him to make the move up in the future.

It was an unnecessary move prompted by comptons poor form.

What an embarrassing batting display.
