Regardless of how close it is we have a better batting line up than them, a better keeper and a better attack. That is fact.

ahh well better than what I thought we would end up with so well done swanny and broad

Could have been a lot worse still 100 short of where we should be as the pitch is offering little and the outfield is lightning

Better than we could've hoped for at 289-8 tbh.

There is always something for the bowlers in England. Bowl the right line on a good length and you will pick up wickets every time at Lords.

361 feels like an OK score at Lords.

South Africa never made that much in their innings last year iirc. Nor England or Windies.

PS not to mention NZ's 68 all out :lol:

This is a different pitch and conditions to those games though

It's deeing fuck all, get it past the infield and it's 4. We've underscored massively here.

Tends to be (at least I hope) football fans who are only interested cos its the Ashes. Tail did well to get us a decent score, been bowling for about 20 mins and had a couple of shouts and the numptys are saying its game over :roll: Its the same people who were slating us (someone even said Cook should resign :lol:) half way through the first test.
