Every time they've been slagged off for just managing 250

Every time so far it's proved to be a half decent score

Let's wait and see

Just thinking that many sides havent got more than 250-300 at the Riverside this year in first digs so despite initially worrying the first innings effort of 250 was about par or slightly under

Usual procedure with Shiv is just get everyone else out iirc

It's looking like that

As its a possibility, do we think (if the opportunity arises) we'll make them follow on?

I'd rather see us rack up a huge lead.

Since the weather isn't going to be an issue I think we might bat again. On the other hand, with wall to wall sun, the pitch could just get flatter and flatter.

If we take the remaining 4 wickets in reasonably sharp time, I'd enforce the follow on. There's nothing to be scared of in their batting line-up and the pitch could just get flatter with the hot conditions. If we take our time it might be worth batting again just to give the bowler's some rest in this weather.

So you lads think 222-4 to 253 all out is acceptable??

94-9. I'd bat again. If they score another 10 it'll be irrelevant like.

253 appears acceptable . Most completed innings feature a collapse of some type.

Especially at Cls!

As the weather is set fair, I would have another bat gives another day for Stokes to get better and for Onions to come back
