i presumed if i was interested other people might, and since the commentary just mentioned it was 8 i may as well type it here.

last time i try and help you ungrateful so and so ;-)

Great days play, even better if we can get Dhoni in this last over

Interested in what, for god sake?!

that jimmy anderson has got tendulkar out as many times as anyone else, and by the end of this series [just in the nick of time like] probably more than anyone else.

no need to take Lord's name in vain like.

good few cricket puns in there for ya anarl

Good days play from England but we need to make sure we dont let Dhoni and the tail put many on tomorrow.

Some very good bowling from Anderson today.

Just caught up.....

Excellent performance from Anderson and Monty, set up for a cracking match. Sneak these out for 320/340 and bat well and it's ours.

lets express sopme caution here, there are only two batters who have proved they can get big scores on these types of pitches

If they fail we are still prone to being rolled for 150

Im not quite thinking as low as that (150) but I do think if India get 300 on the board we will do well to match it.

270odd for 7, it's not a massive leap with Dhoni still there. And not a disaster either as this looks a placid pitch so far.

He needs knocking over quickly or kept off strike cos the good work could be quickly undone.

There's no way this is a 270-7 pitch. Anderson and Monty bowled brilliantly and Finn and Monty kept the pressure on well. If we keep them down to 350 and don't do anything stupid there's no reason we can't get a first innings lead.

Need a first innings lead of 50+ to be right in the game. Can't see us outscoring India batting last.

I agree. I'd say we only have three batters who are capable of getting big scores (Cook, KP and Trott) and we needed two of them to fire last time to win. Hard for them to keep that up.
