I'm not sure what's better - Sky commentary or TMS :-).

Bumble was on form again this morning asking Ravi about the temporary lights on the Army and Navy roundabout at Chelmsford . Then asking why the gritters haven been out !

But then I got into the car to come to work and you've got Geoffrey going on about Alan Knott's sleeping habits when he was rooming with him

Class.

The crickets going alright too, but I'll say that quietly.

Strangely I am more pleased for Compton. Massive battle for an inexperienced player in alien conditions and although he hasn't been pretty, he has valued his wicket.

Hope he gets a ton as it will give him a chance in more familiar conditions in the summer.

key to be been an opener is to be sensible and see off the new ball and then the runs will come. He has played really well.

I'm still not sure he's the answer long term, he was nothing special before he went to the batters paradise of Taunton and he's pushing 30. I understand the thinking in having him ahead of Joe Root for this tour but I reckon Root will take over soon enough.

23rd century for Cook, most ever by an Englishman, youngest player ever to 7000 Test runs, average over 50. Not bad.

Cook is only 27 too, amazing

tut tut

anyone listening to TMS?

boycott talking about when warne said panesar hadn't played 30 tests, he played 1 test 30 times - how unfair and cruel it was.... f***ing hell excuse me?

i'm sure boycott never says out critical of anyone :lol:

I believe I said if KP or Cook dont get runs we would be all out for 150 or have I missed something?

Yes, it was a very bold prediction that one. 'If the best two batsman don't get any runs, we will struggle to get a big score'.

Neck on the block there like. ;-)
