i for one said hes history, which he is/will be

Change of tune from the " He'll never play for us again because Short called him a cun/t and told him he can leave "..

You're the biggest bullshitter on here you wanker.

Not flap and bottle it every time for starters...

Don't who that that is...

If your talking Guy Ritchie film then your foolish opinion on Gor Gor is justified, same as being the Xbox generation...

i don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Show me what corner he flapped and bottled on today?

So after failing to argue on the football, you're now inventing how many games I attend? Good stuff.

Was i not to wide from the mark??

Not really just putting my point across that you talk shite and don't have a valid opinion considering you haven't been to a game since Jan..

A good 'Directly in front of you shot stopper' but positionally useless, scared shitless of crosses and can't kick a ball up field for toffee. No need for a tin hat, if we could get a fee, which we can't of course, he'd be worth less than half we've paid.

For the dissenters, I'd like to hear arguments for incoming crosses (against his static positioning), his positional ability with regards to set pieces and central play as well as any defence that can be given for some of the worst kicking (Minger aside) in the league.

So there

100% bull.

:lol::lol::lol:
Ok clever arse...

Watch Given or Hart...

They are exactly the same...:-)

So you cant know anything about football if you don't go week in week out?

Good Job Short doesn't agree or we wouldn't have MoN at the helm!

You comment on a player in Holland that you have never seen in your life, whereas I combine watching every game with flying across 5 times a season or so and yet my opinion is the one that is not valid?

It's the argument of someone who's just lost one on the football.

The top and bottom of this is that under Nigel Spink he was actually starting to look the real deal. He was actually starting to command his area better as well. But then got injured again.

Not sure what our current goalkeeping coach is like but if he can get him back to that form then he's No.1.

If he leaves then I'm not too concerned as the Mig is showing he is going to be a good keeper. Age on his side

i have never seen somebody get so upset about paper talk as he does.

I have no idea where this myth that keepers are supposed to dominate the air and collect every high ball. It seems to have arisen after Gordon arrived. There's not a single keeper in the league that does it. Not one.

I'd argue Petr Cech, but if anything that emphasises your point.

One thing I've never quite got about those who criticise Gordon about his 'commanding of the area'; it's Mignolet's biggest weakness IMO, as I think he looks very uneasy on crosses and aerial attacks in general.

I give him the benefit of the doubt though as I know how difficult it is, and there are very few keepers who are excellent at it.

Heard he is a decent coach, but as a keeper for sunderland, christ this place would be in melt down everyday if he was playing now!

Hi position when the cross was struck was fine. But he is 6" 4. Have a look again and count the number of seconds he had to make 5 yards, and get at least a fist to the ball.
What makes me even more angry is that we know how good Davies is in the air and that he regularly outjumps defenders, and won more than his fair share today. Ball swinging in (not out, for which I might have a little sympathy had it been the case) and landing within 5 yards of Gordon's finishing position. What a mess. Other than that, he did OK.

Agreed.

He used to be a keeper who came for everything, now he really is glued to his line. There were a few freekicks/crosses that Gordon came for today that Mignolet never would have attempted to get to.

I honestly have no idea where the ''Gordon doesn't command his box'' myth comes from. It just sounds like some lazy cliche that people throw at him just so they can criticise.

MON wanted to sign him when at villa so he obviously rates him. for someone who's been out so long he did very well today
