SMB hasn't been the same without Gordon playing

Already salivating at the prospect of the two opposite camps going at it as Gordon throws one in the back of the net (he was unsighted, rusty, fouled) or fails to keep out a rocket from 3 yards (he's shit, never has a clean sheet, weak wrists). Hope he signs a new contract just for the SMB entertainment.

Personally, I rate him highly and would love him to stay, but recognise that he needs to score more goals

I agree!

No, I thought your point was either or but I didn't read it correctly. I would've thought the only reason Gordon is getting a game today is to see if he deserves a new contract, which makes sense to me.

buy by playing him it alerts other clubs that he is available on a free and puts him in the shop window.

Why would they want to alert other clubs he's on a free? It's not like they can't boot him the moment the contract is up. Are you worried he'll start squatting at the stadium?

You said the poster was a liar, I believe?

Yes. He asked a previous poster to bet £10, the other poster mocked, op asked him to raise the stakes, he did, op bottled it. I stand my opinion he's a bottler and a liar...

That is the point if he plays well in the next three games then we would be bidding against other clubs for his contract.
So why would we want to do that?

We would be better off keeping our options open and not playing him then, he'd be f***ing off anyway. It looks like worse news for Westwood than it is for gordon

Is he fuck a liar.
It's obvious he had a good source Gordon would start. He would have bet a tenner, but wouldn't bet a grand as you've got to be a dick to bet that. Gordon is made of glass man, he could injure himself getting out of bed in the morning.

The op came good, imho

I am at the game before I get shot down.

He's had a decent first half, he has handled the ball well and his kicking has been canny.
