It's not good enough to simply say 'medical studies know this', show us the evidence. And not from a site with a pro-drug agenda please.

Stop being so stupid.

what? are you saying alcohol wouldnt be a class A drug? that you wouldnt be having a go at us for drinking it?

because it's the norm. would you rather go out with your son and get absolutely arseholed, or sit in having a spliff and chewing the fat and having a laugh.

i love drink mate and don't partake in drugs for the record.

Or would you rather have 3 or 4 pints, have a laugh and chew the fat or sit in your own home and inject smack into your eyeballs? :-?

Can I see proof of this?
You just sound like a bloke who is defending his own actions

That is why The Economist continues to believe that the least bad policy is to legalise drugs.

Certainly the view of the likes of Freidman & co. and that magazine is broadly speaking representative of the view of the economists I know.

Re. the police, what I said was based on the 5 or 6 I know.

But if you look there's some big hitters in the police force who want legalisation.

Having a joint is not socially acceptable.

seems to be becoming more and more acceptable. once upon a time if a celeb or politician used dope there would be uproar. now its a shrug of the shoulders and barely worth a mention. cananbis use is very widespread wether its regular use or experimenting

In November 2010, Nutt published another study in The Lancet, co-authored with Les King and Lawrence Phillips on behalf of this independent Committee. This ranked the harm done to user and society by a range of drugs.[9] Owing in part to criticism over the arbitrary weighting of the factors in the 2007 study,[8][10] the new study employed a multi-criteria decision analysis procedure and found that alcohol is more harmful to society than both heroin and crack, while heroin, crack and methylamphetamine (crystal meth) were the most harmful drugs to individuals.[9] Nutt has also written about this topic in newspapers for the general public,[11] sometimes leading to public disagreements with other researchers.[12]

enjoy.

To be honest, not that I will look, but Id imagine there is an article somewhere saying paedophilia is ok

I know it's becoming more widely used by the younger generation. That's more of a reflection on how our society is going down the toilet rather than an acceptance of an illegal drug.

what about the older generation? acid and cannabis were fairly big things among youths decades ago. ecstacy a little more recently in the 80's. coke getting bigger in the 90's. its far from this generation

It's a stupid question without a sensible answer.

would alcohol be class A. yes or no
