This thread has turned into a drugs debate i thought it was about the massive successes of operation bacon
So that is utter nonsense. Alcohol has been drank and enjoyed for centuries on our island and has context throughout history.
It's great to have a pint with Sunday dinner in a pub and not snidely sneaking around the side to have a spliff, I loved toasting the queen with a glass of port in the army and imagine showing your respect towards Her Majesty by sucking on a bong as slightly ridiculous. Rum rations were used for centuries by our armed forces, I doubt Nelson's fleet would have operated very well with a ration of ganga pre-rumble. Even Wedding toasts or F1 drivers spraying champagne in celebration would seem a bit hollow and demeaning if they were replaced by the snorting of coke.
So no it does not seem a little odd, it's very far from it.

Are drunks not irritating?
I couldnt care less if its breaking the law, shall i just get legal highs? I bet you complain about them aswell. I dare say ive irritated alot more people when ive been pissed than on drugs. Being on drugs and being drunk are the same thing you know, some have different effects but particularly with coke the effect is fairly similar in that you talk shite, loudly etc
There is nothing amusing about drugs having no historical or positive context in our responsible society. I am sorry if that doesn't fit with the younger generation who seem to think it's perfectly normal and acceptable, perhaps even misguidedly 'free spirited'?

That's reasonably obvious from your aggressive replies, are you high on coke now or on a miserable come down?

what about the use of opiates? or amphetamines?
I'm sure alcohol comes with one of them, I forget the name...![]()
What about them? I don't see anyone on here claiming to take them.

Alcohol is legal, how many times?
Are you being deliberately obtuse?
