We haven't got a player in our squad that would get in their side, or so they keep telling me.

I usually enjoy having a chat with the decent Mags on here ...... you're just a childish little wanker who's not worth my time. I hope you're still at school 'cos your patter's shite tbh.

Yet I can always rely on a bite off you.

A fully bit Gordon would, as would Bardsley. Besides Colo all the CB's are pretty average so anyone of them could partner him. Then it's a pretty close call between Sessegnon, Gyan, Ben Arfa and Ba over which two would be in attack. I wouldn't take any of your midfield above ours though.

And how many times have you seen this lad play??

Kindly explain why you come on a Sunderland forum daily?

Because there's loads of threads just like these discussing Newcastle, comparing yourselves to Newcastle, you constantly try to emulate Newcastle, you'd think you lot were obsessed or something. ;)

It's brilliant, you sign some players and the first thought isn't lets discuss these players, there pros and cons, where they'll fit into the team; the first thought is compare to Newcastle, did they cost more than Newcastle, have we outspent Newcastle.

Anyway I've said time and time again stop posting about Newcastle, I'll stop replying. :)

Not much I could argue against in that post in fairness, of course we were jealous, as you would have been if the roles had have been reversed.

I honestly don't believe we would have had some of the crowds that you lot have considering what you put up with. both of us maintaining pl status can only be a good thing for ne football though.

A handful of times, admittedly, but within that handful is one of the best individual performances I've seen in a Newcastle shirt so I eagerly anticipate seeing what he can do at full fitness and on the same wavelength of the rest of the team. I have very high hopes for him and Cabaye.

Bloody hell, your manager must be tactically destitute and/or your players don't give a toss if our team of injured players (who you say aren't good enough to get in your team) finished above you in the league! There is another possibility... you are a fucktard and we're better than you lot.

On reflection, I'm going with you're a fucktard, your manager's tactically destitute and your players don't give a toss.

Or you could be reading too much into the fact you finished a solitary point above us and that we we're one minute away from finishing 2 above you. End of the day we were pretty equal last season. Looking beyond the league we can point to a far superior head-to-head record too.
Our starting XI is stronger imo but you've more strength in depth.

Destitute isn't the opposite of astute btw buddy.

Cyril, the players we are signing are not world class, the joy is that after years of playing second fiddle, we are no longer doing that. Not by a great distance, but still not second to you. That means a lot after all the shit we have had to swallow.

agree Db.

The fact we are neck and neck is a sign of your progression / our regression. However we are neck and neck though. I know older posters like yourself and riviera are level headed but some on here are taking the fact we are now level as an excuse to go a bit ott.

So you seen him play 4 times(tops) and that's enough to judge him, remember Racki(sp) played for Wigan, couldn't stop scoring, I don't think he even plays in the prem now does he? one swallow does not a spring make, Cabaye How many times have you seen this lad? there's a lot of wishful thinking going on with you mate, they may be good players, who knows? but equally they might turn into dogshit very quickly when the chips are down.

I'd be surprised if you knew enough Ben Arfa, Marveaux, Cabaye and Ba to make that assessment to be honest if you're not a connoisseur of French football.

Aye this. To claim the starting 11 is better without knowing anything about half the team is typical Mag stuff. Don't think anyone would mind if you said they looked good but you couldn't tell or what have you, but no, you have to go out and make an assertion based on next to nothing. That's where the "deluded" bit comes from you see.

Who said it was? I know what astute and destitute mean and also know that they aren't antonyms.

'your manager is tactically destitute' means: Pardew is tactically bereft, lacking, impoverished and without substance; these all being meanings for the word 'destitute'.

This Mag love in with Ben Arfa, what is it based upon?
I think he ha splayed one home game and was taken off for Spiderwank.

He scored a goal though you see. Kevin Nolan scored 12 like, and he's gone, but that's no biggie because he isn't as good as the player who scored one goal anyway.
