He's shit. He's just not a footballer. Decent athlete, shit footballer. Awful at everything that involves a ball or some level of technique or nous.

Our options are right back are:

- one who is a bit taller than average.
- one who is a bit faster than average.

Err...the cross for Defoe's goal, am I being whooshed? Don't feel comfortable criticising any of them tonight tbh.

Said before, both full backs need replacing if (when...) we stay up. Both are no where near premier league level at a consistent basis. Yedlin did well in the second half today though and was good for the third goal.

Equally as shite defensively as PVA.
However I do like him, seems like a good lad. Warmed to the club and fans.

Even went to Durham during the week to watch the cricket.
What cricket?

Think that's Sam's first job if we stay up, two big strong fullbacks that can play and a good attacking mifielder who also has a bit streanth and we're good to go.

Watch it again ,
Pretty sure he skipped past a defender to set up the chance in the first place

He ran quickly. He then duffed the cross (as usual) straight towards Cahill. Rahman's intervention is what put the ball to Defoe.

Why is it that any time we win, we have to pretend that all of our players are good? We are where we are for a reason. Having two shit right backs is one of them.

Why do you feel the need to have a go at players when we've just had a massive win !

Yes he's not the best but we're not Barcelona !

Being greedy I'd have a new keeper as well tbh but Vito did well today.

He's improved quite a bit defensively IMO but yes his final ball for a what you'd call an attacking full back is very poor and needs a lot of work to be good enough for this level.

We wouldn't need to keep pulling rabbits out of the hat every April/May if we didn't have the likes of Yedlin playing regularly. Why is winning a game (only the 8th of the season) a reason to ignore the deficiencies of the team?

Mate , fk off !

Nee offence like

But what a day today !
Have a wank !

What? Some so called fans need to find a boo boy after the best game at the SoL in years? And I assume they pick on Yedlin as Vito is unavailable after he (yet again) so clearly saved us points?

I particularly love the 'will never be a Prem Footballer' line. Wake up. He is a Prem Footballer and has played during the critical last 11 games during which we have lost once. He also played in a world cup where he had a stormer of a game against the world champions.
You might be right that Sam buys over Summer and plays someone else next season. And his last ball often leaves a bit to be desired. But he is improving week on week, he covers a huge amount of ground, and if you can't get behind him and each and every one of those lads who played today now you don't deserve to follow a great club like Sunderland.
