Inter really should be ahead at half-time, been by far the better team whilst Napoli have been virtually non-existent as an attacking threat.

Not sure if I've ever seen a player look as disinterested as Higuain has done for Napoli this season.

5 euros for kids at Lyon. Good value

and Malbranque scores. Seems so long since he was here I've forgotten how to spell his name.

Lyon vs Marseilles looks the match to watch tomorrow night.

Marseilles with 8 wins in a row will be looking to go back 7 points clear of PSG, but Lyon are unbeaten in 6, winning 4 of those. At home they are pretty formidable with 5 wins from their 6 matches (all their league wins have come at home) and their last 3 home results were 5-1, 3-0 and 4-0 wins.

Really close with the bookies anarl, with Lyon the slight favourites.

Valencia back to winning ways tonight against Elche. A 3-0 home win with all 3 coming from corners! A good way for Peter Lim to celebrate finally completing the takeover of the club.

Its starting to look very interesting at the top of La Liga!

Following RM's 3-1 victory over Barca, Valencia beat Elche 3-0 last night. Today, Sevilla came from 1-0 down at home to Villarreal with 88 minutes played to win 2-1, with a late equaliser from Denis Suarez and an even later penalty from Carlos Bacca to send them joint top of the table. Atl Madrid grinded out a typically industrious win at Getafe, 1-0 on the night against ten men but Getafe were piling the pressure on late on but Atletico hung on.

Just two points separate the top five with them all having played 9 games -

Barca 22 pts
Sevilla 22 pts
Real Madrid 21 pts
Valencia 20 pts
Atletico 20 pts

It'd be absolutely class if Sevilla and Valencia could both sustain a title challenge as well as Atletico! Its shaping up to be an interesting season.

Big win that for Atleti, still only 5th but two points off top after them lot won yesterday. Massive to get that win & to get Mandzukic getting a winning goal. Few very winnable games coming up, let's see how Valencia and Sevilla get on next month or so with a few tough games coming up.

Edit - Aye, as said above basically
