There's a guy called Tom Ferguson who just focuses on Porsches. He has done for years. He sorted me out with one when I got one years ago and was trustworthy with services, MOTs etc.

Mine started overheating and I thought the head gasket had gone and it would cost me a bloody fortune to fix. He rang me after I dropped it off to say a carrier bag had gotten into the fan and he never charged me for anything

His garage if it's still there was in the industrial estate near the Metro Arena

No where near the metro arena mate. Tom is behind Gateshead stadium.

Sorry if this is seb as o haven't read all the thread.

Aye I'm going back about 15 years ago mate. He used to be off the scotswood road but he's moved now

I normally go to Fenwicks, as they do made to measure.

The made to measure in Jules B is better - I find there's still a risk of bumping into plebs in Fenwicks

Love a TVR but they have such a bad reputation for reliability! Probably undeserved....

Used to love my Chimaera but I wouldn't buy a TVR now as it's getting harder and harder and way more expensive to sort out problems with them.

Thats a load of rubbish to be fair mate. I'm on my 4th one & they are no more expensive to sort now than they were when I had my first one 14 years ago, in fact some things are cheaper.

911s are lovely cars and very reliable if they have been regularly serviced. Pay particular attention to the electrics - make sure everything works. Check for signs of major repair and crash damage.

Can't help with a specialist in the NE I'm afraid.

I thought their heavy tanks would be more your thing.

That wasn't my experience but hey, you can't be talking rubbish so I must be

Anyone know if there is a Bentley dealership on Meedhupparu Island in the Maldives as I will be in a Water Villa there in January?

No but there's one in the executive water suites at Four Seasons Kudu Haraa - I'll have my man copter over with the details

Worked at JC600 on the Silverlink years ago. The staff has pretty much all changed these days, but back then they were a bunch of wankers. Just in case, avoid.

Sid is a f***ing dinosaur who can be very economical with the truth , his son David was miles better to deal with before he got peddled.
