Mignolet

He is really struggling so far, mostly down to the shit defence in front of him but some of his errors have been really poor tbf

Some of it is, some of it isn't. Neville and Carragher blaming him for Jagielka's rocket, and Carragher going even further by deflecting the blame from Gerrard's slip on to Mignolet "doing better", was embarrassing to listen to. But then look at his kick at the weekend against Palace, booted it straight out and from that attack Palace scored.

He was a decent 'keeper whilst here, nothing more, nothing less. His ability to make excellent saves in one-on-ones during his final season here covered up some of the glaring deficiencies in his game which are now being highlighted at Liverpool - poor with the ball at his feet, indecisive on crosses and his footwork is pretty shocking. Gordon was always a better 'keeper but fans couldn't get past the price tag for some reason, Mignolet has done well to make the most of what he has but Liverpool and the pressure that brings was always a step up that seemed beyond him IMO.

He's taking a right shoeing on the comments thread in the Daily Fail and on twitter as well. I think the Scousers have found their fall-guy for this season already. Many are of course going on at Grobbelaar about how much money he could make in the modern game to let more goals in. To be fair, we knew the failings of Mig before he left us - unable to dominate his box, flaps at crosses but an excellent shot stopper. If we knew, there is no excuse for the Scouse Management not to know what they were buying. Oh and thanks for the £9M. My thoughts, Brenda will panic buy in January Sales.

It's Liverpool's fault. They brought in a keeper to play a part of a system where the keeper has to regularly use his feet. Mignolet isn't good with the ball at his feet.

Absolutely spot on.

The two clowns in front of him are somehow getting away with murder. Lovren and Skrtel are far more worrying then Mignolet imo.
