He was asked about mark noble as a possible England candidate. He ignored the question and then spoke about Danny Drinkwater. Still waiting to hear what he thinks about noble

The Euro qualifiers? Yeah that's what I mean.
The World cup group contained Uruguay and Italy, they are not chod. Undefeated for first time in Euro qualififying group.

Exactly, stubborn old fosil. Blinkered in his approach to the job. In fact he'll probably be given a list of players who the FA want to represent England. Doesn't look capable of picking his lottery numbers never mind a team.
 
Thought it was pretty stupid to talk about Welbeck.

I rate Welbeck but not playing all season and still getting in the squad would be rediclous.

When are we going to get an England manager who picks on form?
 
Don't think the bloke has done anything wrong. Basically started from scratch and got us through with 100% record.
People forget that Lampard, Gerrard, Terry and Owen are no longer available for selection and Roy can only pick from CURRENT footballers and so far he has done well with what is available

If Guardiola or Jose were England manager and they pocked the same sort of players AVAILABLE would they get the same stick Roy does?
 
The way he dissed mark noble and any other english midfielder saying he was happy with his midfield choices made me wonder if its even possible to break into the england setup from his current squad. He's not exactly the strong minded leader you want as your manager is he.

Pick different players then. Half the problem is any of us can name Hodgson's squad and team and be 90% accurate.
