3 for a win
1 for a draw
Plus a penalty shoot out after a draw for the missing third point! Ten penalties each to be taken. Itd certainly get players used to penalty shootouts even if only adopted in the academy leagues.

Might even end the ridiculous situation whereby there seems almost to be no place for goalscorers like Defoe, who should in fact be the most valuable and sought after players.
In the Mourinho era it seems no one wants to play two central strikers, and however much they talk about passing football, they want the one striker they do play to be a big lad they can lump it up to.

City, united and Liverpool often play 2 up front. Barca and Madrid typically play with smaller strikers.

That's mean, and devalues the efforts put in by defenders. I'd rather give a bit extra for efforts by the strikers to counteract good defense.or, to make it more interesting, 0 points for nil-nil.
