I'm glad they're finally building on the land around the stadium but can't help wondering if people will actually use this.

I haven't lived in the NE for a while, are that many "pay as you play" pitches necessary?

Who will utilize the classrooms?

The issue has always seemed to be that outside of matchday/ticket office visits there's not much reason to go to that part of town.

I suppose they may be thinking "if you build it they will come"....but in that case they might want to get a new bridge built first.

Well the crowtree Leisure centre has been demolished.

Around 80 kids with learning difficulties will be there full time won't they?

I thought the bridge was going ahead.
