He isn't brave enough to be a target man.
We'll find out when he goes there and has a manger whim despite being a tosser knows how to make a team work to best of its ability. I may be proved wrong but i can see him doing well for them for that reason alone

He's a plank David.

On his arm?

He will be playing in League 1 by then.
All our players seemed like planks under the previous regimes. Its easy to assume they were all shit. Wickham has ability. It needs managing. As with most players. Pardew will do a better job than di canio and poyet at getting more out of him.

You may well be right. He hasn't been given much of a chance in the centre, when he did feature there he looked decent.

Has to be said though, he's playing under a good manager at the moment but hasn't pulled any trees up. In fact he's impressed Dick so much he's being moved on. What do we know though, perhaps he's being sacrificed to finance a transfer/balance the books, or maybe he's being shipped out against Dick's wishes.

These lads are that well paid that unless they have natural fight, they will paddy worse than a kid.

He will have been hacked off at not feeling wanted, not being first choice (not deserved), or being sent out on loan.

Pardew is slimey, but will kiss his arse and cup his balls, and pander, and the lad will lap it up.

That is why he will do well for them, natural position, lots of attention, and confidence. Would you give a fuck for £60k week whether you do well or not?

Most footballers from soft countries are as soft as fkng shit, when you sign a natural winner you hit gold, we have not had one for donkeys, and that includes Cattermole who I rate highly, needs something extra than that.

No, the stats don't lie unles your basing your one sided opinion on 1 season. He has a fuckin terrible attitude and I'm pleased he has gone. I was shocked when we gave him a new contract of 60k a week.

I was shocked that we signed a 22 English proven premier league player to a 5 year deal as well.

Welcome to Sunderland son, please take this huge pile of cash. Sorry to see you go son, here's another pile of cash to add to the massive pile of cash we've given you these past weeks.
Irrespective of performances and attitude. Sickening really.

Until he gets a good run of at least 12 games as a central striker it will be difficult to tell if he'll make the grade in the premier league. He could probably do with a manager like Big Sam to knock some fight and heart into him. That said, imo, he really should have been given his chance centrally last season. Can't say I'm too sad to see him leave but no hard feelings as we've haven't exactly made the most out of bringing him on in the role for which we spent so much cash on.

Contracts work both ways, that is the way of the world. Because of the length of his contract his transfer fee will likely be a busted flush with most of it going in some sort of compromise arrangement.......

Good gets him off the wage bill and means we can bring a forward in
my sentiments exactly, against Newcastle in april he looked disinterested, yes he's only young but he should have been running all over the place, constantly in the wrong place, advocaat obviously doesn't reckon he'll cut it
