The bus I was on yesterday had about 20 people at the back all up at the windows screaming "you f***ing black bastards ooh ooh ooh" at 2 lads walking past the bus yesterday. Would that have offended you?

I think rife is a bit of a strong term and I don't think we have a bigger racist minority than most other clubs. Racism, unfortunately, is in all walks of life and we've seen that many have taken the Brexit vote as validation of views from society as whole. Football matches can sometimes bring out the worst in people as they feel secure in the anonymity of being in a crowd.
No. I'd have just thought f***ing idiots and got back to my book or listen to some music. Certainly wouldn't have played on my mind for any period of time.

I was at the match yesterday and did not hear anything anti racial. To single out Sunderland support as racist is over the top. In all social areas in this country there are racist people. This includes Blacks and Asians. To say that only white are racist would be untrue. Should we put up with it? No, but it boils my pi$$ when people tag the whole club as being racist.

If someone wanted to I supppose they could but I wouldn't have felt compelled to do so.
I'm far more inclined to take offence by someone mocking another for s disability, using terms like 'spacca' etc. Being black isn't a disability just as being white isn't so it's not something that concerns me.
I'm not offended by it. If that doesn't suit you then so be it.
Were you all offended when Bernard Hopkins said to Joe Calzaghe "I'll never lose to no white boy"? I wouldn't imagine so.
