Think we all thought it was down to Sam and the England job but the reality is it's been a week since Moyes was announced and it sounds like we were sounding him out for weeks before that so could easily have been lining up transfers informally behind the scenes for his targets. Is there just no money to spend or what?

If you're referring to Kirchhoff he played the full game against Dijon.
 
Based on the lack of activity so far, I'll be surprised if we have more than one signing in before the season starts meaning that we will be starting the season weaker than when we finished the previous season. Again. Yet again.

I think we'll start to see movement next week. The manager situation obviously has in Bain's words paralysed us but we are hopefully making progress now, let's face it we desperately need to.

Have we ever gone into August in the transfer window having not made a single signing before?
 
13 days until the first game and we have no one. Looks like it's gonna be a mad rush to get the numbers in. Yay!

Moyes has had a look at what he has. I think we get two or three in before the season starts.

We've got a good base from which to work from but with no recognised right back and Defoe injured ATM it's very concerning.

We should be there or there abouts with man city two weeks today :(
